The end customer is a large industrial enterprise located in Vietnam, operating continuous production lines with high power demand. Due to the critical nature of their operations, the customer required a dependable standby power solution capable of supporting essential loads during grid failures. Key requirements included stable output, fast automatic response, compatibility with local electrical standards, and reliable performance under high ambient temperatures.


Our Solution

To meet the customer’s requirements, Global Power, under Wuxi GuoPu Power Technology Co., Ltd., supplied two units of diesel generator sets with the following configuration:

Each GPSC1000 generator set operates at 1500 rpm and is designed as an industrial-grade standby power source. The system complies with ISO 8528 standards and is suitable for long-term emergency operation in demanding industrial environments.


Technical Performance and Key Parameters

The generator sets are powered by SHANGCHAI 12-cylinder V-type diesel engines, featuring turbocharged and after-cooled technology. With strong load acceptance and stable speed control, the engine ensures reliable performance even in Vietnam’s high-temperature conditions.

The GP brushless alternator, equipped with an electronic AVR system, maintains voltage accuracy within ±1%, ensuring consistent and safe power supply for industrial equipment. The DEEP SEA DSE7320 control module provides automatic start and stop functions, real-time monitoring, and comprehensive protection against abnormal operating conditions such as over-voltage, low oil pressure, and high coolant temperature.

In the event of a grid failure, the system automatically starts the generator sets and restores power without manual intervention, significantly reducing downtime and operational risk.

After installation and commissioning, the customer reported stable performance and smooth automatic operation during multiple power outage tests.
